Not safe, watch out for burns!Apr 13, 2011
By TruthSeeker I was very excited about getting these little things for handling lids, with hot handles... The problem with these holders: they are not flexible, quite small (one side is larger than the other) and it is very easy to touch a very hot surface with your fingers or palms, using these... Even when handling a small rack from a toaster oven, I have to be very careful, because only some of my fingers (gripping ones) are protected, the rest of the hand/pinky/palm is exposed. Watch out for burns! I would not buy them again

Pot holder without all the bulkDec 07, 2010

These pot holders are great for baking cookies because you don't need the bulky awkward pot holder to get the job done. Be aware these do not work so well if you are taking anything heavy out of oven.

Works Great!Oct 27, 2009
By B. Cravero Like these a lot! I would like to see them a little bigger, but they work great for taking cookies, etc. out of the oven.

I love these little "pinches"Mar 20, 2011
By Cheapskate I like to eat hot food off hot plates. These pinches are much better than pot holders for serving hot plates -- smaller (they never fall into the food), easier to clean (just put them in the dish washer), and cute to boot!

Burned twiceMar 10, 2011
By Cezanne Farris-Gilbert I was burned twice before throwing these away. They are just too small to protect your hands. I originally bought them thinking they would be good for grabbing hot items from the microwave, but I found it easier to just slide a hot plate or bowl onto a silicone trivet. Then, I started using them to grab hot pot lids on the stove, but you get such poor grip, since they don't mold to what you're picking up, that the lid twists and results in a burn. Overall, I didn't find these to be useful enough to justify the risk.
