I purchased this balloon whisk after purchasing some expensive All Clad saucepans. I was concerned that my metal balloon whisks would scratch the pans. This whisk is excellent! Although it is quite flexible and takes a little time to get used to,as it's not as rigid as the metal whisks, it still does as good a job as the metal ones but it does not harm the pan. I only wish I had invested in this product when I purchased my stainless steel mixing bowls as they are very scratched since using my old metal balloon whisks!!!

I absoluetly love this whisk! I was weary of the silicone at first, but bought it anyhow. I designated it as my whisk for when I make jelly because it doesn't scratch my pot and it gets all the jelly out of the pot.
The handle is very comfortable to hold and the whisk fun use!

Purchased this whisk about a year ago and loved every minute of using it. It is flexible and won't scratch your dishes or pots/pans. This would be a great whisk to use on a non-scratch surface as it'll keep it safe while you are still able to mix your ingredients. I used this whisk quite a bit over the last year. The bright color is also appealing as it is eyecatching and gives me a little bit of happiness holding something so brightly colored in my hand while I cook or bake. The biggest downside is that the whisk doesn't last. The wires are embeded into a molded plastic that is glued inside the handle. This week, the glue dissolved and the molded plastic that is holding the whisk wires is coming out. I can no longer use this whisk because I don't trust that the glue is food-safe. It was great while it lasted but I sure wish it lasted longer.
