it does what it says it does and it works for quite a while on about 10 -15 pumps, only thing is you may think filling it up all the way is what you are supposed to do. if you do that it will only spray one stream on oil and not a mist. If you fill it 1/2 to 3/4 full it works so much better and makes a much finer mist. It is worth the money.

This is a very nice oil spray pump. The stainless steel finish makes it look very nice on my counter next to my spices, ready to use. The pump is just like the (I think it was Paul Mitchell) hairspray back in the day that you'd pump up to get a nice fine mist spray, sans aerosol. It only takes a few pumps to get it ready to spray. Granted, the mist does not last very long, barely enough to grease the bottom of a skillet, but once the mist is done, the oil comes out in small little squirts, which works great for me. I have not had the Trudeau Oil Spray Pump for very long, so I don't know how long it will take to clog or how difficult it will be to clean. However, so far, so good. I'll probably order a couple more, so that I can have peanut oil & sesame oil in a spray pump in addition to the olive oil I have now.

I researched lots of similar ones and decided to try this one. I'm glad I did it is great! Make sure to only fill it half full then there is lots of room to pump and it works really well! I couldn't be happier being able to save by not buying expensive canned sprays and it saves the environment a little bit too.
High recommend this product!

I had this sprayer in my saved items for a very long time. I liked the idea of misting oil onto my greens but had a hard time justifying the cost when I can just pour oil from the bottle or can.
I finally bought it. It works as it should. The only con and reason for 4 stars rather than five is that, no matter how much you pump air into it, you only get about 2-3 seconds of actual mist. I realize the point of my purchase was to reduce the amount of olive oil I sprayed on my salads but I do end up having to pump it up and mist twice.
On the plus side - the bottle is stainless steel. Many people don't know this but olive oil should not be subjected to light and should also be refrigerated. I keep my Trudeau Oil Spray Pump in the refrigerator and haven't had any problems with the mister clogging, and the stainless steel finish keeps the oil protected from light. The quality is pretty good - much better than a plastic one I've had for years.
5/26/12 UPDATE:
I've been using this sprayer about once per day for over a week now and the spraying nozzle no longer works. I pumped air into the thing but now no longer get a mist but a slight drizzle that runs down the side of the bottle. Also, I never bothered to look until I was asked by a reader of my initial review, but the bottle and spraying mechanism is all plastic, only covered by a stainless steel shell. To the manufacturer's credit the design keeps light away from you olive oil (if that's what you keep inside), but other than that, this is just an expensive version of every other cheap sprayer out there. I realize some sprayers keep working better than others, but I still say, "Learn from my false optimism and look for another."

Is fantastic for olive oil.. OO is very expensive so it good to use a product like this so ur sure to get the best use out of ur OO.. Works perfect no issues what so ever.. Remember to only fill it about half way because it does need room inside for the air u pump in.. And make sure to use all the air inside before opening it or if there is oil and air inside and u open well u might just feel like ur in some kind of adult party..
